In this 5-Day sample of Online Armenian School, we’ll teach you the foundations of speaking, reading and writing in both Eastern and Western Armenian – covering basic phrases, feelings, emotions, sentence structure, reading, writing and more. • Day 1: Learn the most common Armenian greetings and phrases to help you start conversations. By the end of Day 1, you’ll be able to greet people, introduce yourself, ask about their day, ask for directions, and so on.
• Day 2: Learn the foundations of reading and writing in Armenian, as we teach you the most commonly-used letters in the Armenian alphabet. By the end of Day 2, you’ll be able to read and write at least 5 Armenian words – an excellent foundation for beginners.
• Day 3: Learn how to say basic feelings and emotions in Armenian, such as ‘happy’, ‘hungry’, ‘tired, and ‘well’. We’ll learn with quizzes and games along the way, to help you remember and build on what you’ve learned.
• Day 4: Learn how to form basic sentences, such as “I am happy”, and “Are you hungry?”. By the end of day 4, you’ll be able to form sentences of your own, combining the phrases you’ve learned up until this point.
• Day 5: We’ll recap what we’ve learned so far and teach you the basic differences between Eastern and Western Armenian, so you can learn to understand both.

Can I start the lessons when it suits me?
Yes, you can! Lessons will be available for a full month, so you can log in at any time as long as you complete the lEaston’s within that timeframe. As soon as you enrol, you be given immediate access. Just select ‘My Lessons’ from the menu at the top.

How often do I need to log in?
New lesson material will appear in your portal daily, for 5 days. We’ll send you an email with an easy link to log in, each day. And all lessons will remain in your portal – so, if something comes up, they’ll be there waiting for you.

Can both adults and children join?
Yes, absolutely! These lessons are ideal for both adults and children aged 7 and above. For younger children, we’d recommend our self-paced learning resources.

What if I need help?
