Learn to speak Armenian, read and write, with Tun Online Armenian School. Benefit from weekly online Armenian lessons that make learning easy and fun. Watch videos, listen to audio, download practice exercises, play learning games and receive tutor support when you need it. Join classes when it suits you and learn at your own pace, in both Eastern and Western dialects. Or, if you already know how to read and write, just contact us after you have enrolled and we will skip those lessons for you.

Can I join classes when it suits me?
Yes, you can!  You can log in at any time and complete the lessons when they suit you. As soon as you enrol, you will have access to your first lesson. Just select ‘My Lessons’ from the menu at the top.

How often do I need to attend?
Lessons are delivered once or twice weekly and are available online in video format. We’ll send you an email every time a new lesson becomes available. Lessons are approximately 15-25 minutes long, and supported by practice exercises that you can do throughout the week. We keep them this length so that you’re not overloaded, and can remember everything you’ve learned. But you can also add more lessons at any time. And all lessons will remain in your learning portal – so, if something comes up, they’ll be there waiting for you whenever you’re ready.

What will I learn?
As long as you are enrolled, you will keep learning! In the Beginner option, we will teach you the Armenian alphabet, punctuation and pronunciation in both the Eastern and Western Armenian dialects. In lessons 7-8, we cover personal and possessive pronouns, plurals and basic sentences. In lessons 9-12, we’ll build vocabulary, sentence structure and encourage writing practice. Beyond lesson 12, classes will gradually become more advanced as we continue to improve vocabulary, complex sentence structure, translating Armenian from music and media, etc. In the Intermediate option, we start with verb conjugations, past/present/future tense and sentence structure, gradually introducing more complex lessons as you learn.

Can both adults and children join?
Yes, absolutely! This course is ideal for both adults and children aged 7 and above. For younger children, we’d recommend our self-paced learning resources.

What if I need help?
From the day you enrol, you will have access to optional one-on-one tutor support. Just reach out to us, and we’ll do our best to help with whatever you need.

How much does it cost?
Once you have enrolled, your account will be charged monthly. There are no lock-in contracts and you can cancel any time. Please scroll up to the top of this page see pricing and/or start your enrolment.
